Everyone loves to talk culture, but how do you make it stick, particularly when you’ve got a new company of 3500 employees that you’re trying to integrate with one of 16,000 employees? We decided to take a fresh approach to communicating our HR People Priority this year and so far, it’s gaining traction. This is not a global success story (yet); it is the story of how a few people across communication and HR took an HR priority and are using it to integrate one of Mastercard’s most recent acquisitions.
How do you balance driving culture while at the same time inviting employees to define it in their terms? We’ll spend this session sharing why we embarked on this endeavor, what lessons we learned from past initiatives that shaped this one, how we’re making an impact and what’s coming next, including:
- Learning how to successfully integrate a company using culture as a driver
- Finding out ways to activate culture initiatives in creative ways and from the bottom-up
- Exploring how to measure success of culture change and integration
